<![CDATA[“...it is more blessed to give than to receive” Acts 20:35 NIV - Integrated Generosity Online Forum]]>Sat, 11 May 2024 11:46:15 -0500Weebly<![CDATA["Strategic Philanthropy"]]>Wed, 10 Aug 2016 16:22:18 GMThttp://integratedgenerosity.com/integrated-generosity-online-forum/strategic-philanthropyI recently received my copy of Integrated Generosity, and have found it to be a stunning evaluation of strategic philanthropy. The book is specifically directed at High Income / High Net Worth business owners and families who are of Christian faith, but it contains powerful thoughts and examples for those of any faith who wish to increase the impact of their generosity during their lives, but need a “roadmap” to do so.

It was my pleasure to share with our readers in the financial services arena a recent blog "Strategic Philanthropy" featuring "Integrated Generosity for Faith Based Families".

The full content of Chapter 7 may be accessed via this blog.

Best wishes for great success with this book.

<![CDATA[Excellent resource on discipleship and stewardship]]>Sat, 06 Aug 2016 17:27:03 GMThttp://integratedgenerosity.com/integrated-generosity-online-forum/excellent-resource-on-discipleship-and-stewardshipThanks for the book. Love it! Very helpful information and all from a clearly biblical perspective. Love the Christian Businessman’s Hall of Fame! Fascinating stuff. Section IV, Keeping the End in Sight---great! Especially Bob Shank’s interview. And thanks for including the Afterward on salvation. This book about discipleship and philanthropy - and what it means to be a godly steward -- is helpful, important and inspiring! Thank you for writing it!

<![CDATA[Integrated Generosity well received]]>Thu, 02 Jun 2016 17:22:26 GMThttp://integratedgenerosity.com/integrated-generosity-online-forum/integrated-generosity-well-receivedMark Trewitt is a good friend of Children’s Hunger Fund and is a supporter in the launch of our new distribution center in Dallas. To help our supporters grow in understanding biblical generosity, at our President’s Invitational evert this past April, Mark’s book, “Integrated Generosity for Faith Based Families” was given to all of our attendees. The book was well received, and we look forward to seeing how God will use the strategies presented to bless our supporters and their families.”

<![CDATA[Integrated Generosity Impact]]>Tue, 31 May 2016 17:19:56 GMThttp://integratedgenerosity.com/integrated-generosity-online-forum/integrated-generosity-impactIn Integrated Generosity, Mark shares insights learned from his financial services career of over thirty years. The book is grounded on a solid foundation of Biblical principles, written for families, charities and ministries, as well as financial advisors. He introduces the reader to real people who have managed their wealth wisely, whose example should be followed, and those who have made unwise financial decisions, from which we may learn.

Every day and every breath is a gift from God, and that includes the financial gifts and talents we have been given. All of us as believers will one day give an account for how we used our God-given resources and abilities on earth. Mark’s book lays out a roadmap to help us with financial, estate, charitable, and legacy planning such that we may hear ‘Well done, good and faithful servant' and to enter into the joy of the Master.

It excites me to think of individuals who take hold of this information and are transformed in their thinking about wealth management and charitable giving. They can truly impact an entire family, future generations, the world, and God’s Kingdom.”

<![CDATA[Spiritually refreshing - great read]]>Fri, 13 May 2016 17:25:16 GMThttp://integratedgenerosity.com/integrated-generosity-online-forum/spiritually-refreshing-great-readFelt like I wore out my Kindle highlighter tool! I found the book both a great education from the stewardship perspective and I enjoyed the 'meaty' and detailed examples. A rare combination of spiritually refreshing and appropriately detailed. Additionally there are a variety of outstanding resource links sprinkled throughout, very helpful. While it's a great read for anyone, to me it felt like a must-read for anyone who has been blessed with much, may not feel 101% content or settled with the arrangement of their estate, feels called to be more intense & overt about their stewardship of wealth, and needs some solid ideas to chew on. Great read!

Trewitt’s new book, Integrated Generosity for Faith Based Families, ($31.99, paperback, 9781498445603) is directed at maximizing the immediate and long-term benefit of government tax incentives available through strategic charitable giving, and outlines a highly effective process that begins with optimizing tax reduction strategies. Readers will learn about opportunities to redirect income and estate taxes, referred to in the book as “Involuntary Philanthropy”, toward the more impactful endpoints of “Intentional Stewardship” toward family and “Directed Generosity” toward the causes important to them.
