On the heels of the IRS recently releasing "Notice of proposed rule making and notice of public hearing” in respect of changes to IRC Section 2704, we interviewed Michael Gregory, a consultant who, in his prior life with the IRS, headed up the issue of business valuation nationally at the IRS.

Mike is an independent consultant based in Roseville Minnesota, who entered the private sector five years ago, following several decades of service with the IRS, at all levels.

As a professional speaker and former IRS employee who now specializes in tax topics and leadership such as conflict and resolution issues, Mike helps countless businesses and professionals all over the U.S. through consultation, speaking engagements, and mediation services.

Mike Gregory has also published a number of books, many dealing with various aspects of tax, valuations, and interacting with the IRS.

Mike can be reached though his website, www.mikegreg.com.
